Panic Buttons Mumbai Local Trains

Finally Mumbai locals have panic button in Central Railway ladies compartments which alert motorman and guard in case of emergency.

There is a red alert button available in the ladies compartments in the replacement of chains as many ladies passengers complaint that the same wasn't that effective at the time of emergency.

The system works like when the panic button is pressed, a blue indicator outside that particular compartment will start blinking and alarms will go off in the cabins of the motorman and the gaurd.

There has been trial of this panic button on Saturday afternoon and they'll run atleast one such train in a day daily.
